How to Log In to a Mail.com Mailbox on Any of Its Domains

Every mailbox from this shop opens on the same page, mail.com, whatever its address ends in. Your order page lists the mailboxes one per line, each with its password. This guide takes you from that line to an open inbox, then through the settings worth changing on the first day.
Read the line
your.name1987@mail.com:Tq8vLm2wPz
The address comes first, the password second. Most lines split them with a colon, some with a semicolon:
your_name.77@usa.com;Kd4rNs9eWb
A few lines on IMAP listings carry two more fields after the password. Sign in with the first two; if you are unsure what the others are for, ask in a ticket before using them.
One sign-in page for every domain
@mail.com, @email.com, @usa.com, @asia.com, @europe.com, @post.com, @myself.com, @consultant.com, @iname.com and @dr.com are all Mail.com. None of them has its own website to sign in on.
- Open mail.com and choose Log in.
- Type the whole address, including the part after
@. Typing only the name before it will not find a @usa.com or @email.com mailbox. - Paste the password, copied on its own without the separator.
- The inbox opens. If Mail.com shows a welcome or offer page first, close it or choose to continue to the mailbox.
| Check | Why |
|---|---|
| The domain matches the listing title | Single-domain listings deliver that domain only; mixed listings deliver any of their domains |
| The inbox opens without a lock notice | A locked mailbox on first sign-in is a warranty case: take a screenshot |
| You can open a message | Ask any site to send a test email, or look at the welcome mail many mailboxes still hold |
Web only, or IMAP
Most listings are web only. POP3, IMAP and SMTP are off, so a mail app cannot connect; read the mailbox at mail.com in a browser on your computer or phone.
Listings that say IMAP activated can be added to Thunderbird, Outlook or a phone's mail app. Choose manual setup:
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Incoming server | imap.mail.com, port 993, SSL/TLS |
| Outgoing server | smtp.mail.com, port 587, STARTTLS |
| User name | The full address |
| Password | The password from your line |
If a mail app will not connect to a web-only mailbox, that is how the listing was sold, not a fault.
Make it yours on day one
Open the settings from the menu in the mailbox and find the security section. Change the password to one only you know, and add a recovery email address you own. Do both in the same visit: once the password changes, only you can reach the mailbox, and the recovery address is how you get back in if you forget it.
Some listings were verified by SMS when they were registered. That number was used once and is not part of your order, so do not rely on it for recovery; your own recovery address is what counts.
Mail.com can ask any mailbox to confirm itself again or close it under its own terms, especially after mass mailing. Use the mailbox within those terms and the law.
If it does not open
"Incorrect email address or password"
Check that you typed the full address with its domain and copied the password without the colon or semicolon. Try once more, then stop: repeated failures can lock the mailbox for a while.
The mailbox is locked or asks for a phone number
Do not enter a number or try to unlock it. Take a screenshot of the page as it is.
Reporting it
Open a ticket from your order page within the warranty window shown on the listing. Include the address and the screenshot. You receive another mailbox from the same listing, or a refund when it has run out. Signing in never voids the warranty; locks after mass mailing or automated activity are not covered. The home page explains how the listings differ by domain, age and access.
